If you like the idea of a gas oven but dread juggling a turning peel, the Mimiuo F-BRK6113 offers a direct fix. A handle rotates the 13 inch round cordierite stone, so you can turn the pizza as it bakes. With a UK gas regulator, aluminium peel and protective cover in the box, it is a complete kit for a first oven, aimed at gardens, patios and beach trips.

In its favour
- Rotate the stone with a handle to even out browning, rather than lifting the pizza with a peel.
- The listing states 500°C in 10 to 15 minutes and a 12 or 13 inch pizza in about 1 minute.
- A UK gas regulator, 13 inch round stone, aluminium peel and protective cover are all included.
Good to know
- The front is open-plan, so on a windy evening the flame may need a sheltered spot.
- The listing does not state the warranty period or the burner layout.
Our take
Heat-up and baking claims
Mimiuo states the oven reaches 500°C in 10 to 15 minutes, with a 12 or 13 inch pizza ready in about a minute. Flame size is set with a knob and lights instantly, according to the listing, and the burner output is listed at 4,000 W.
The cordierite stone is said to tolerate up to 1,204°C and to draw moisture from the dough for a crisper base. That figure is about the stone material, not the oven, so do not read it as a cooking temperature.
Turning system in practice
The manual rotation system means you decide when and how far to turn. That gives more control than a motorised turntable and needs no batteries or power. The listing does not explain the burner layout, so it is not clear which side runs hottest, but turning at regular intervals should even out the bake.
Footprint, build and cleaning
Amazon gives 65.5 cm deep, 37.5 cm wide and 32 cm high, with a weight of 15 kg. The body is carbon steel and the front is open-plan, meaning there is no door, so a windy spot may affect the flame. Setup takes a few minutes without tools, and cleaning the outside is a wipe with a cloth.
No warranty period is given anywhere in the listing.
Compared with Tefal and Q Pizza
The Jamie Oliver by Tefal oven turns its stone with a side dial and weighs only 10.9 kg, though it states no top temperature or stone size. The Q Pizza gas oven also includes a UK regulator and a 13 inch stone, but leaves turning to the peel. The Mimiuo combines the larger stone with a turning mechanism.
Verdict
The Mimiuo manual rotation gas oven suits first-time owners who want a stated 500°C, a 13 inch stone they can turn by handle and everything needed in the box. Pick the Jamie Oliver by Tefal if a lighter oven matters more, or the Gino D'Acampo Vesuvio for 14 inch pizzas.
