Gas ovens with a single back burner tend to scorch one side of the pizza, which is why the NutriChef NCPIZRTACC is worth a look. Its listing names an L-shaped burner that wraps around two sides, paired with a 360° rotating stone. A rain cover, regulator, hose, peel and cutter come in the kit, so it suits someone who wants a complete, weather-ready setup to leave on the patio.

In its favour

  • An L-shaped burner heats from the back and side, and the 360° rotating stone helps even out the bake.
  • The kit includes a rain cover, regulator and hose, peel and cutter, so it is ready to cook.
  • A long handle and adjustable heat control are listed for steadier control of the flame.

Good to know

  • At 15.8 kg it is heavier than the Tefal or Ooni here, so it suits a fixed spot better than travel.
  • The listed dimensions look too small for a 30 cm oven, so check the real size before planning space.

Our take

Burner shape and the turning stone

An L-shaped burner sends heat from the back and one side, and NutriChef says that, combined with the rotating stone, it gives even heat for a consistent bake. An adjustable dial controls the flame, and a long handle is listed, presumably for turning the stone without reaching close to the opening.

NutriChef states a 30 cm pizza cooks in 60 seconds. The temperature range in the specifications is 932°F, which is about 500°C, and burner output is listed as 4.2 kW.

The kit and the cover

Included are the oven, rotating stone, regulator and hose, rain cover, pizza peel and cutter. The cover is a practical extra in a British garden, because it lets the oven stay outside between uses rather than being carried in each time.

Weight and the dimensions puzzle

Listed weight is 15.8 kg, heavier than the Jamie Oliver by Tefal oven or the renewed Ooni Koda 12. The legs fold and parts detach for storage, yet this is better treated as a patio oven than a camping one.

The dimensions in the specification table, 32.9 by 16.1 by 12.4 cm, cannot be right for an oven that takes a 30 cm pizza. Ask the seller for the true size before planning where it goes. The listing gives no warranty period. Also note that a different, slimmer NutriChef 30.48 cm gas oven appears in other guides on this site.

How it compares

The Jamie Oliver by Tefal oven also turns its stone by hand and is lighter at 10.9 kg, but states no top temperature. The Mimiuo manual rotation oven quotes 500°C with a 13 inch stone and cover. The NutriChef's case rests on the L-shaped burner, which neither rival claims.

Verdict

The NutriChef 30 cm oven fits a cook who wants the stone to turn, heat from two sides and a rain cover so the oven can live outdoors. It is less suited to travel because of its weight. For a lighter oven with a turning stone, pick the Jamie Oliver by Tefal, and for a stated heat and larger stone, the Mimiuo manual rotation oven.
